Incredible Adoption Story!
This is really an incredible and heart warming adoption story. First a little back story. Chuckie and Pie have spent the last 4 or so months with me having come from an elderly woman who could no longer care for them. There were 5 birds in the group and I had room so I took Chuckie and Pie. We got them to vet and learned that they were relatively healthy but their wings had been damaged and they would never fly again. I transitioned them to a healthy diet of pellets and chop and saw their health improve quickly. Because of Pie's bald head and general appearance I honestly didn't have a whole lot of faith that they would ever be adopted. i had resigned myself to the thought that Chuckie and Pie were with me for the long haul.
